Clyde is a litigation attorney with a decade of experience representing individuals, businesses, and private organizations in complex civil litigation throughout Florida.  As owner of Dunton Gallagher Legal PLLC, Clyde focuses on recovering damages for injured clients, meeting the legal needs of yacht and boat owners, and delivering strategic counsel and effective advocacy in matters including agency enforcement actions, commercial lease and warehousing disputes, consumer advocacy matters, and more.

Clyde’s approach blends meticulous legal analysis, exceptional written and oral advocacy, and a client-centered philosophy.  He has successfully argued cases before state and federal courts throughout Florida, in international arbitration, and before administrative judges and special magistrates. 

Clyde is known for his broad general knowledge outside law, meticulous knowledge of legal processes, and his clear, persuasive writing and courtroom presence.  In addition to litigation, he advises individuals, small and mid-sized businesses on tax issues, compliance, risk management, and transactions.

Clyde earned his J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law, where he earned numerous awards and visited the University of Leipzig School of Law to study US-EU Relations.  He holds a B.A. from the University of Vermont, graduating with honors and writing his senior thesis under Dr. Frank Bryan.  Clyde has a M.A. in Philosophy of Science from Temple University. He has also studied History & Sociology of Science as a visiting graduate student at UPenn and the University of Vienna’s Institute Vienna Circle.

Clyde has over 15 years of experience teaching in higher education.  He has taught more than 30 courses in philosophy, political science, history, and literature at universities in the Philadelphia and Miami metro areas.  He has been Adjunct Faculty in philosophy at Miami Dade College off and on, schedule permitting, since 2015.

Clyde has a diverse network of friends and colleagues the world over, who he enjoys keeping up with and assisting in their projects.

He lives in Miami with his family and cat.
