Clyde has a decade of experience litigating complex and high stakes civil, maritime, and insurance disputes throughout Florida.
As owner of Dunton Gallagher Legal PLLC, Clyde focuses on recovering damages for injured clients and meeting the legal needs of yacht and boat owners. He also provides strategic counsel and effective advocacy in other matters. Clyde has successfully argued cases before state and federal courts, in international arbitration, and before ALJs and special magistrates.
Clyde is a generalist, with broad and specialized knowledge outside law, especially in the human sciences and management studies. In addition to litigation, Clyde advises individuals, small and mid-sized businesses on tax issues, rule compliance, risk management, and transactions.
Clyde earned his J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law, where he earned numerous awards. He holds a B.A. from the University of Vermont, writing his senior thesis under Dr. Frank Bryan. Clyde also has an M.A. in Philosophy from Temple University and studied History of Science as a visiting graduate student at UPenn and the University of Vienna. Clyde has taught more than 30 university courses in philosophy, political science, and literature over the past 15 years. He has been Adjunct Faculty in philosophy at Miami Dade College off and on since 2015.
Clyde has a diverse network of friends and colleagues the world over, who he enjoys keeping up with and assisting in their projects.
